The Checker Smart Vision Sensor has changed the way industry approaches even the most basic detection application. Checker takes the best attributes of photoelectric sensors and adds so much more for manufacturers and machine
builders.
Checker is an all-in-one vision sensor with built-in lighting, a variable working distance and capable of inspecting over 6000 parts per minute.
The advantage of checker over other sensors is that:
- Checker understands what it sees, such as code printed on a label
- Checker can inspect multiple part features simultaneously
- Checker overcomes varying part position, does not require precision handling
- Checker does not require additional sensors to determine if part is present

Checker also gives you the ability to apply logic to what it sees (if this AND this OR this is detected - then fail!) and can provide up to 8 outputs for precision control of your process.
Checker can allow16 programs to be selected via PC, Checker Operator Panel or via job select I/P’s on the optional I/O board.
The release of the Checker 252 brings even more power to the Checker Series. The 252 allows Measurement verification
oand Diameter Checks of parts. Digital Vernier Calipers “snap to edge” of the feature to be measured. Min and max thresholds are set and the Checker will provide pass/fail indication to the operator. Verfiy component thickness, check weld seam 
thickness, verify hole diameter, inspect for “out-of-round” and more!
All this in a package than only measures 41×67mm - compact to fit anywhere.
With the release of the new 3G Series, users can select the personality of the sensor - either inspection or measurement! While the 3G can only hold 8 jobs, has only two outputs and no logic, it provides all the other features of the 232/252 Series at a low entry level cost.
